A history of tradition and development
Caroni SpA has been making history for more than half a century, in pursuit of innovation inspired by tradition.
Since Stefano Caroni founded the company in 1954 it has evolved from performing simple mechanical work on contract to manufacturing components for major automotive industries, industrial vehicles, farm machinery and earthmoving equipment.
In addition to components, the company began producing tools and dies for cold working of sheet metal, and designing and producing agricultural machinery and landscaping and earthmoving equipment.
Three different but complementary specializations, which work together and all share an emphasis on quality: the key to Caroni. All the company’s actions are backed up by consolidated know-how and supported by massive investment in human resources and technology, permitting rapid adaptation to new market conditions.
Recent history
The company has further expanded and diversified its production capacity again with the recent addition of new Painting and Laser Tube areas.
The two plants (Plant 1 e 2), covering a 56,000 square meter area and employing 130 people, the majority of whom are highly specialized workers, produce about 20 million Euro in turnover annually, 5% of which is set aside to fund research and innovation.
Innovation, diversification and internationalization are the keywords explaining Caroni SpA’s commercial success all over the world: a leading company which has always been oriented toward international expansion, exporting 80% of its production to the European Union, the United States, Canada, South America, Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Linked to major international industrial groups and highly qualified Japanese industries through partnership agreements, Caroni SpA has more than 250 customers on five continents.
