Social Commitment
Acting with responsibility in social affairs with “i Bambini delle Fate”.
In the belief that it is right to be actively involved in social affairs, Caroni SpA supports the foundation “i Bambini delle Fate”, a non-profit organization that finances social projects – managed by parent associations, institutions or hospitals – aimed at children and young people with autism and other diversities.
Projects involving more than 600 Entrepreneurs and over 1000 individuals, who with their constant help guarantee a present and a better future for hundreds of children and teenagers in difficulty.
The projects financed and managed by the associated structures carry out rehabilitative and social inclusion interventions that improve the lives of those suffering from autism and disability, and ensure relief for families: 36 projects in 9 Italian regions.
If you are an entrepreneur or an individual, and you want to do something really useful, call n. 0423420193 or send an email to Aziende@ibambinidellefate.it: you will be contacted and informed about the activities of the Foundation in your territory.

You will be constantly present on the main national and local media and on the website “Il Sole 24Ore / Economia e Lavoro” together with the other courageous captains.
You can use the “Children of the Fairies” brand and images in your corporate communications to highlight and make known your important role in social responsibility.
We are waiting for you!

Caroni & Sport
Caroni SpA’s history has been marked by achievement of more and more difficult goals, from its origins right down to the present day: just as in sports, every challenge is an encouragement, and every victory marks a milestone.
This is why Caroni loves and supports sports. The company sponsors Cuneo’s volleyball team, Brebanca Lannutti Cuneo: the link was established many years ago, kept alive by the company’s and the team’s shared commitment and dedication to teamwork.
Close in age – for Caroni was established in 1954, and the Cuneo Volley Ball Club, as it was then known, in 1958 – the company and the team share a career made up of competitions and wins, sometimes hard-won, but always played with rigor and professionalism, putting both in a highly prominent position in their field.
In the second division in 1975, the team was promoted to the second level of the first division in 1988 and had already risen to the first level by the 1988-89 season. The team won games against volleyball greats, and in the 1995-1996 season its name was engraved on the Italian Cup and the CEV Cup. The team came first in the Regular Season, though it lost the national championships to Sisley Treviso in the fifth game of the play-offs. The following season brought Alpitour Traco more success, and the 97/98 season saw a determined team celebrate its victory in the European super-cup in Belgium, eliminating the Modena team, and the Champions’ Cup in Cuneo, defeating the Greek team Olympiakos Pireo. The team won the Italian Cup in the 1998-99 championship season thanks to a historic 3-0 win over the highly successful Sisley Treviso team. The year 2002 also opened with some great results: in February the team won its third Italian Cup, with a spectacular 3-0 win against Trento, earning the team a place in the Champions’ League. Also in 2002, the team competed once again for the CEV Cup and earned itself the title Queen of Europe.
In January 2006 the Italian Cup came back to Cuneo after a great, well-earned victory, eliminating Copra Berni Piacenza in the finals with a score of 3-1. In each season, under different names – from ALPITOUR to TNT ALPITOUR, NOICOM ALPITOUR, NOICOM BREBANCA, and today’s BREBANCA LANNUTTI CUNEO – but with the same iron will, the team has become more and more popular with fans, and we hope to see this success continue in the future.
This wonderful team has held the bench in the first series, winning the championship of the A1 championship in 2010 and continuing with good results until 2014. In June 2014, due to lack of sponsors, the team withdrew from the first championship. In 2015, the aim is to safeguard the youth sector, a heritage that we do not want to disperse …
